A new recreational sports complex called “KABLAND” is going to be constructed close to the small town of Kableshkovo, Pomorie. It is worth 53 million Euros and is going to be situated over 2 million m² of land. It is aimed at elite, solvent golf loving tourists. This holiday village consists of 100’s of elite priced villas, hotels, pools, also a race course, some restaurants, shops, tennis courts, a casino, a football and polo field, and the golf course with 18 holes.
“KABLAND” is going to be open all year round and is expected to welcome more than 5000 visitors every year.
The company investor “KABLAND” Ltd is owned by foreign investors, among which are the world famous Gallagher and Newman, who are one of the world’s biggest building contractors. The chief architect of the development is Mark Jones, Designer of some of the largest golf courses in the Bahamas, Abu Dabi, etc.
The complex is going to be constructed in several stages. About 3000 workers and specialists from the Pomorie region are bound up in the developing, and 800 people are planned to staff the village. The investors believe that building a tourist golf complex on a world level, close to Burgas, is going to work for developing tourism in the region and improve the infrastructure of Pomorie municipality.
